This milestone comes largely thanks to the enormous worldwide earnings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, which recently crossed the $1 billion mark, pushing Saldaña’s cumulative box office total beyond that of Johansson’s and other top stars. 

According to updated box office tracking, films featuring Saldaña have collectively grossed over $15.4 billion globally, a career figure that now places her atop the historical rankings. Previously, Johansson held the record after her success in mega-grossing films like Jurassic World Rebirth and numerous entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). 

Saldaña’s rise reflects her involvement in some of the most commercially successful films in cinema history.
