African Marketplace (AMP) is heading back to Dubai for its second edition from October 10–12, 2026, following the success of its inaugural event last year.Scheduled to hold at the Conrad Hotel Dubai, the three-day platform will once again bring together African and Caribbean entrepreneurs, creatives, innovators, investors and global buyers in one of the world’s biggest international trade hubs.
Founded by Ibukun Awosika through the Ibukun Awosika Leadership Academy (IALA), African Marketplace was created to showcase export-ready brands and businesses from Africa and the Caribbean while opening doors to international trade, partnerships and investment opportunities. From fashion and art to food, music, technology, wellness and design, the event positions Afro-Caribbean creativity not just as culture, but as global business.
Speaking on the 2026 edition, Awosika described last year’s debut as proof that African and Caribbean excellence is already globally competitive.“We are not waiting to be discovered. We are here. We are globally ready,” she said.
Beyond exhibitions and showcases, AMP continues to evolve into a broader commercial and cultural ecosystem designed to connect identity, innovation and economic opportunity on a global stage. As conversations around African exports, creative economies and global visibility continue to grow, African Marketplace is positioning itself as one of the emerging platforms helping shape that future internationally.
