Nigeria’s storytelling and podcasting ecosystem is preparing for another landmark moment as PodFest Naija returns on September 25, 2026, at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos. Organised by The Muvmnt Studio, the festival continues to position itself as the country’s premier gathering for podcasters, storytellers, creators, brands, and culture drivers. Following the success of its inaugural edition, this year’s event promises a bigger and more influential convergence of voices shaping conversations across Nigeria and beyond.
A Platform for Collaboration and Cultural Conversations
PodFest Naija was created to celebrate storytelling while fostering collaboration, innovation, and learning within the creative ecosystem. The festival will feature engaging conversations around audience behaviour, emerging digital platforms, authentic storytelling, and the future of narrative-driven content in Africa. Attendees will also experience specially curated themed stages where renowned creators and thought leaders will share personal insights, industry experiences, and lessons from their creative journeys.
Speaking on the vision behind the festival, Tosin Adefeko, Curator of PodFest Naija and CEO of AT3 Resources – The Muvmnt Agency, described storytelling as the “heartbeat of meaningful communication.” According to him, the festival was created to unite creators who were previously operating in silos and to amplify consumer-led narratives shaping modern culture.

Influential Voices, Brand Partnerships and Creator Opportunities
The 2026 edition will feature influential personalities across finance, culture, health, branding, relationships, and public discourse, including Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani, Aproko Doctor, Joro Olomofin, Francesca Uriri, and Dr Foy, alongside several other respected voices in Nigeria’s creative industry.
Beyond panel discussions, PodFest Naija will host the Next Big Podcaster talent discovery initiative and a Spotify-led masterclass designed to equip creators with practical growth strategies. An interactive exhibition arena will also allow brands to connect directly with attendees and engage with Nigeria’s rapidly expanding creative economy. Supported by brands such as MTN, Fan Milk, Eve Essentials, and UAC, PodFest Naija continues to strengthen its reputation as a defining platform for storytelling, collaboration, and innovation in Africa’s media landscape.
